Anand has 22 years of experience in research and faculty roles in organizational behavior and leadership development.

His research interests lie at the intersection of three broad domains – leadership development, positive psychology and Indian psychology. He was the co-Principal Investigator for the Understanding the Leadership Gap research study at CCL, lead developer of the Leadership Gap Indicator and an author of Experience Explorer: From Yesterday’s Lessons to Tomorrow’s Success: Facilitator’s Guide. Anand has co-authored multiple CCL research reports including recent ones titled Global Asian Leader: From Asia, For the World-GAL 2.0, The Global Asian Leader: From Local Star to Global CXO, BOLD 3.0: Future Fluent Board Leadership in Asia and State of the Indian CXO: Making Experiences Matter.

As a faculty for leadership development programs, Anand has, for 10 years, facilitated the development of leadership skills, creative thinking and innovation skills among graduate students through design and delivery of CCL’s Global Citizen Leader program. Anand partners with leading youth and non-profit organizations to create impact through his facilitation skills and by conducting Train-the-Trainer programs to build facilitation capacity in organizations.

Prior to CCL, Anand was a graduate student at Nanyang Technological University, and was engaged in research and teaching. His earlier work with the Center for Cultural Intelligence involved developing the concept of cultural intelligence and its relation to the adjustment of expatriates.

In his role as a Leadership Solutions Specialist at the Center for Creative Leadership based out of Singapore, Anand leads CCL APAC’s evaluation practice, partnering with CCL staff and clients to identify leadership needs, design and delivery leadership development solutions, articulate leadership solution outcomes, and evaluate the solutions for impact and improvement.

Passionate about youth development and believing that access to early leadership development has the most potential to improve lives and create lasting change, Anand in his role as Societal Advancement Lead expands CCL’s Societal Advancement agenda to deliver leadership development to youth and non-profits in APAC.
