Amy Shields

Amy Shields is a program manager at Grantmakers for Effective Organizations. She manages the content and development of GEO’s publications.

Prior to GEO, Amy worked for the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership in Alexandria, VA, where she was the Director of Research and Strategic Initiatives. Amy started her career at Deloitte working as a strategy and operations consultant with the Federal government.

Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with an additional major in international relations and master’s in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
