Position Summary

The Sponsorship Support Specialist ("SSS") will be a vital member of our growing sponsorship team. This person will be responsible for supporting sponsorship sales, coordinating and executing contracted sponsor benefits and acting as the day-to-day point of contact for many of our partners underwriting our US Conferences and Seminars. The SSS must be a proactive multi-tasker with excellent communication and organization skills. The SSS is client-facing, so extreme attention to detail and superb customer services skills are an absolute must. If desired, success in this job may lead to a full-time sponsorship salesperson position.

Reports to the Director of Sponsorship

Principal Direct Activities

Coordinate, manage and track the execution of contracted benefits for sponsors. This includes, but not limited:

    • Confirming proper logo inclusion/placement on promotional and on-site materials
    • Act as primary liaison to other TCB departments on behalf of the sponsorship team or sponsors (E.g. Marketing, Customer Service, Programming, Accounting, Meeting Planning, Webcasts/Media, etc.)
    • Produce sponsored webcasts with responsibilities including logistics coordination, talent/speaker recruitment, managing content planning calls, and overseeing marketing outreach
    • Leading and managing invitation process to sponsored events
    • Preparing and sending sponsorship information packets
    • Manage and track sponsor invoices, receivables and collections
    • Track and register sponsor guests for each partner
    • Preparing/transcribing post-event debrief reports

Ability to work with sponsors and event staff before/after normal business hours at off-site venues

Assist in activities related to selling sponsorship including:

    • Lead sourcing
    • Tracking competitive calendars
    • Manage and curate participant lists
    • Assist in the production in sponsorship proposals

The Sponsorship Support Specialist will also be responsible for working with the following internal teams to ensure proper and timely coordination of sponsor development and involvement:

  • Sponsorship
  • Accounting/Accounts Receivable
  • Meeting Planning
  • Marketing/Audience Development
  • Programming
  • Webcasts
  • Other assignments/tasks/projects assigned by the Director of Sponsorship

Desired Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Very strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – verbal and written
  • Sales support and/or B2B conference experience
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
  • Exceptional customer experience/service
  • Ability to work independently within a team structure
  • Advanced multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Positive, confident, creative and professional
