Position Summary

The Manager, Executive Programs, Councils is responsible for ensuring that all council members who engage with any of TCB's products and services have a world-class experience. The manager will collaborate closely with multiple departments within the organization to represent the council member point of view. This person will be a true advocate for our members in solving their business issues and providing necessary requirements to enhance our products and services. The manager will be an instrumental part of the council team to help drive an increase in usage of our products and services, and increase the retention rate of the council membership base.

Principal Direct Activities

Deliver Value to Members:

  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of council members
  • Proactively engage each member to ensure that TCB products and services are being leveraged to maximize the value of each council seat
  • Work with members to develop a success plan that outlines how TCB will be addressing their critical need both immediately and in the future that includes metrics for success
  • Researching and understanding each member's business/individual need to identify new opportunities for content creation and between meeting interaction
  • Facilitate cross-council outreach and benchmarking
  • Identify key areas of member interest/pain points and partner with engagement director to address those areas
  • Actively advocate for member interests on monthly practice calls
  • Analyze evaluation data from council meetings, and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to improve the member experience
  • Report new member-facing issues/wants to the appropriate team at TCB
  • Maintain regular, consistent outreach to members


  • Identify, track and report on key performance metrics related to member engagement
  • Monitor member engagement trends and execute appropriate action
  • Achieve annual retention goal
  • Know and understand a need for each and every member in your portfolio
  • Attend all council meetings
  • Keep key stakeholders informed of member activity


  • Manage and optimize the process to track, organize, and solve business issues/hot topics
  • Collaborate with program director to ensure meeting highlights contain actionable insights (enhanced note-taking, and debriefing after each meeting)
  • Ensure meeting evaluation feedback is addressed, and incorporated into future meeting planning
  • Regularly review and act in accordance with the at-risk member process
  • Perform post-onboarding actions to begin to build relationship with new member (actions/process TBA)
  • Manage meeting budget
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Preparation of event materials
  • Coordinating with logistics manager to ensure council experience is consistent and is within budget
  • Attendance tracking
  • On-site execution of events
  • Meet all internal and external deadlines
  • Serve on special project teams when needed

Desired Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years business experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to learn quickly, handle multiple tasks, and comfortably interact with senior executives
  • Ability to analyze with strong problem solving strategic thinking skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player mentality
  • Ability to work cooperatively with various internal departments
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work and think independently
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects based on changing requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle adverse and unexpected situations in a composed and professional manner
  • Ability to adapt to and initiate change in a fast pace & agile environment
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
