CECP Giving in Numbers Survey 2014

The Conference Board has consolidated its annual survey of corporate contributions and resulting Corporate Contributions Report into the survey conducted annually by CECP. Both organizations are pleased with the many benefits that “one survey and one report” brings to the field.
The unparalleled data repository that the survey creates is a key tool in helping other companies make the case to strengthen their giving. CECP and The Conference Board can support your company’s internal reporting and benchmarking needs throughout the year.
Participating in the Survey
If your company participated in CECP’s survey last year, a representative from your organization has already received communications from CECP regarding the 2014 survey on 2013 contributions.
If your company has not previously participated in the CECP survey and/or The Conference Board annual survey, we encourage you to take part this year. Below are next steps for how to get started. The survey closes on April 1, 2014.
- Contact CECP. The survey will be conducted by CECP through its highly secure, easy-to-use Corporate Giving Standard online system. If your company is new to the CECP survey, ask the survey lead representing your company to call or email Michael Stroik (+1 212 825 1262, firstname.lastname@example.org), to request a username/password and for instructions on how to use the system.
- Begin gathering your data. While your survey lead will enter the data online, he/she can get in touch with CECP to receive a PDF of the survey as well as specific valuation guidance for each survey question. It’s important that you understand “what’s in and what’s out” with regard to the numbers your company reports—contact Michael Stroik for assistance in interpreting the guidance for your company.
