Boards are largely missing the value they ought to receive from enterprise risk management (ERM) work at their companies. Directors are often trapped reviewing compliance data when their focus should be on better understanding how robust risk information can enhance their decision making. We will examine how boards can better identify and use the right risk information to inform their decisions on strategy,
as well as:

  • The information boards need about risks that they currently do not receive
  • The value ERM can bring to boards’ oversight of strategy
  • The role directors can play in setting risk appetite and tolerance

Who should attend

Heads of enterprise risk management, chief audit executives, heads of corporate governance, corporate secretaries, independent directors
