Treasury - Looking to the Future
21 March, 2013 | (01 hr)
2013/14 will be an exciting but critical period for international treasurers in terms of regulation and technological advances. With Basel III implementation looming and less than a year to go before legacy euro payments systems will be replaced by the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) treasurers must act now if they are to benefit from, or at worst minimize, the knock on effects of these two events.
The capital and leverage ratios demanded by Basel III will inevitably affect credit availability, structure and pricing. In addition, SEPA, plus the general desire to improve the efficiency and performance of treasury operations, will ensure that the role of technology is ever more vital. During our webcast we will address the impact of Basel III and the challenge to have cutting edge technology systems.
The webcast will also outline briefly the benefits of joining The Conference Board Treasury Council. A unique opportunity to come together with peers from other large organisations to share experiences and insight, help to resolve each other’s challenges, keep abreast of best practice and explore ways of making better business decisions and contributing more effectively to corporate strategy.
