North Shore-LIJ reduced start time by 50% while saving $1 million per year in onboarding materials and orientation programs. After assessing the effectiveness of its processes in 2007, they migrated from paper-based tasks and implemented an automated system which increased efficiency and communication to more than 7,000 new hires per year.
