Building an OED Function
24 April, 2012 | (01 hr)
Designed to maximize the impact on the business, hear the story about the two-year process of building an Organization Effectiveness & Development (OED) function within EMC University. These Development Consultants are aligned to business groups across the enterprise, partnering with HR and providing a variety of leadership, talent management, and organization development services and solutions. We’ll present and discuss the EMCU structure & operating model (e.g., funding & coverage model, partnership with HR, HR capability building), OED core deliverables & services (e.g., change management consulting and solutions), and efforts to build infrastructure (e.g., tracking/reporting, website development). The 2012 priority for this team is to scale these services and capabilities globally to support EMC’s significant growth projections.
