Wherever companies are on the spectrum of HR outsourcing, their choices make them a part of a growing trend. And they all have something to learn from one another. This study examines the benefits, challenges, and alternatives to HR outsourcing. It is based on the experiences of 165 companies, including 125 survey participants and an additional 40 interviews with vice presidents of HR, CFOs, and CEOs.

- How prevalent is HR outsourcing?
- What challenges are companies facing when outsourcing their HR functions, and how are these overcome?
- What benefits are companies achieving, and are these in line with their expectations?
