Initiative on Sustainability Chart of the Week
The Conference Board Initiative on Sustainability Chart of the Week features highlights from Sustainability Practices: 2012 Edition, a report analyzing the most recent disclosure of environmental and social practices by 3,000 global companies.
The result of a collaboration between The Conference Board, Bloomberg, and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Focal Point USA, the report analyzes a total of 72 environmental and social practices and illustrates, both the percentage of companies disclosing on these metrics, and the median performance on the sample.
A few of the practices featured in the Chart of the Week series include: greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, water consumption, workplace diversity, workplace accidents, environmental fines, human rights policy, and charitable contributions.
