Riding the Reform Innovation Wave: Implications for Health Care Organizations and Their CHROs

Half of the rising costs of health care pertain to that sector’s own workforce. The Patient Protection and Affordable  Care Act (ACA) of 2010 has helped rein in rising costs, but was also intended as a catalyst for sector-wide innovation. Several formidable barriers exist, but the drivers for change are significant and have already set in motion previously unseen levels of creativity and development across almost all health care market segments. Chief human resources officers of health care companies are on the front lines as their organizations strive to manage, communicate, and embrace change.
