The uneven pace of global economic growth, the explosion of regulation, the ongoing technological revolution, and new sources of competition all require a holistic and systematic view of human capital strategy, an understanding of marketplace trends that affect that strategy, and the implementation of relevant, cost effective solutions that align with corporate goals and objectives.
The value and goal of this new research effort from The Conference Board and McKinsey & Company is to bring together disparate pieces of human capital into a comprehensive analysis that highlights the most significant trends, challenges, and opportunities identified by human capital executives.
Findings in this report are based on research conducted across three methods: a global survey, a comprehensive literature review, and domestic and international focus groups.
