Human Capital Challenges in Asia-Pacific, 2012–2013: Leadership Development and Succession Planning for the Global Leader

Leadership development and succession planning rank among the most significant human capital challenges facing organizations in Asia-Pacific. A focus on improving leadership development programs, enhancing the effectiveness of senior management, building an internal pipeline, and aligning succession planning with the business is helping companies to effectively manage these challenges.

This report is fourth in a series based on the results of the Human Capital Challenges in Asia-Pacific survey—a spring 2011 survey of human capital professionals in Asia-Pacific conducted by The Conference Board. The first report, Human Capital in Asia Pacific, 2011–2013: Identifying Top Challenges and Strategies, provided an overview of the findings.
