Responses to this year’s edition of The Conference Board's annual survey on corporate contributions indicate that charitable giving by companies and corporate foundations grew at a relatively modest rate in FY 2006 and kept pace with corporate profits. Among the 189 companies that participated in the survey, total contributions of $10.21 billion were distributed to recipients in the United States and overseas in 2006.
