Damien J. Park, MBA
Damien J. Park, MBA, is president and CEO of Hedge Fund Solutions, LLC, a Philadelphia-based strategy consulting, public relations, and investor communications firm focused on issues relating to shareholder activism. He founded the company in 2003 after leaving a publicly traded company involved in a long and costly battle for board control with one of the world's largest and most aggressive dissident investors. Since then, Park has advised on these issues to boards of directors, CEOs, and institutional investors.
Park is a featured commentator on RealMoney.com, discussing shareholder activism, and is often quoted in leading business publications, including the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, CFO Magazine, The Deal, CNN Money, New York Times, The Nikkei and Newsweek Japan. He is a frequent speaker at professional conferences on the subject and is chairman of the Hedge Fund Activism and Shareholder Value Summit, the largest annual gathering of activist hedge funds in the world.
Park is a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland and holds an MBA from Trinity College Dublin.
