Andrew Tank

Andrew Tank

Andrew Tank is Executive Director at The Conference Board, responsible for The Conference Board's research and communications in Europe and for its activities in the Middle East. This includes on-going research projects in the fields of productivity, corporate governance and organizational effectiveness. Recent research he has directed includes Productivity, Performance and Progress in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council; The Business Case for Diversity: Good Practices in the Workplace and Women in Leadership: a European Business Imperative. He is the author of a number of business books including "Building Flexible Companies", "The BI 50: Case Studies in Management Success" and "Making Alliances Work". Previously, he served as the European management editor of the Economist Intelligence Unit, South & East Asia correspondent for "Automotive News" and with International Voluntary Service in Bangladesh. He serves as President of the Cambridge Society of Belgium, holds a degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Cambridge University and is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce.
