Waterloo
Decision-making under pressure
Walk through the legendary battlefield at Waterloo and examine the key leadership decisions that shaped the outcome of one of Europe’s most important battles. You will study examples of decision-making under pressure as a framework for exploring key principles of good leadership and how to apply them to your business.
The Waterloo program offers unique insights into the very different command styles of two of history’s great leaders: Napoleon Bonaparte, a man supremely gifted in his ability to inspire and command, and the Duke of Wellington, a consummate and determined commander whose leadership turned a vast and diverse international organization into a cohesive, well-oiled victorious fighting unit.
This day and a half program examines decisions made by these military giants, as well as those down the chain of command, to analyze what worked and what failed, and to draw critical lessons from history that can help you succeed in today’s increasingly competitive global business environment.
