Programs for Corporate Governance Executives
The Conference Board Global Corporate Governance Research Center brings together a distinguished group of senior corporate executives from leading world-class companies and influential institutional investors in a non-adversarial setting. In small groups of prominent senior executives, all discussions are confidential, enabling a free-flowing exchange of ideas and effective networking. This highly unique forum allows industry leaders to debate, develop, and advance innovative governance practices, and to drive landmark research in corporate governance.
Under the direction of Carolyn Kay Brancato, the Governance Center draws upon more than a decade of authoritative research into corporate governance best practices. It also builds upon the internationally acclaimed and influential Conference Board Commission on Public Trust and Private Enterprise, co-chaired by Hon. Peter Peterson and Hon. John Snow, whose members included Hon. Paul Volcker; Hon. Arthur Levitt, Jr.; Andrew Grove, Chairman of Intel Corporation; Ralph Larsen, Former Chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson; and John Bogle, founder and Former Chairman, Vanguard Group, Inc.
Founded in 1993 and now a core division of The Conference Board, the Governance Center is committed to helping corporations enhance their governance processes, inspire market confidence, and facilitate capital formation in today's globally competitive marketplace.
