The Conference Board Directors' Institute is the premiere provider of governance education for directors. Our singular approach brings together current and former directors, chairmen, and CEOs to share their practical experiences with your company's directors in a completely non-academic format. And since a significant part of the Directors' Institute experience comes from peer-to-peer discourse, attendance is restricted to sitting corporate directors.

The Directors' Institute's practical, time-efficient programs allow your directors to stay abreast of trends in governance and meet the challenges of their unprecedented responsibility and accountability. Our sessions provide a highly interactive forum for candid, off-the-record dialogue about directors' real-world business challenges. We bring in expert practitioners and keynote guests from the business, regulatory, and judicial sectors to supplement the core director faculty.

Because directors have varying needs, the Directors' Institute offers:

Roundtable Forum This intensive, day-and-a-half program focuses on key corporate governance issues in a rigorous and comprehensive program. Upon completing this 8-hour program, your company receives an upward adjustment to its ISS governance rating.

Tailored In-House Program When you select this option, our faculty works with your company to tailor the program to your company's needs. Sessions take place at your designated location and are flexibly planned in conjunction with your scheduled board meetings, off-site retreats, or other board events. Tailored programs vary in length, depending on the issues selected. ISS accreditation is also available with a total of 8 hours of programming.
