Innovation Workshop Sessions
Session 1: Views from Business, Society and the Research Community
Session Goal and Rationale
The goal of this session is to provide a selection of views about what a database on organizations and innovation could contribute to understanding innovation, particularly what knowledge is missing and what key questions need answers.
The reason for the session is to set the stage for the workshop. The speakers are not subject matter experts in the field of innovation, but, rather, have a broad understanding of the key issues and an ability to ask thought—provoking questions. We expect these speakers will address and/or pose further questions.
The information provided in the session will be used as motivating background for the white paper.
