This council is one of the most prestigious forums that exist today for bringing together the Chief Financial Officers of major companies to discuss issues of professional interest. The Chief Economist of The Conference Board is a participant and presents an economic update at meetings. Members have the opportunity to build strong peer and personal relationships. Founded in 1949.

Requirements for Membership:

Member must be full-time employee of a company that is an Associate member of The Conference Board. Member must be the Chief Financial Officer of his or her company and have responsibility for its financial management. Consultants and service companies are not eligible for membership.

The Conference Board is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE Credit.
