Council Alumni Program

Members of Conference Board councils are senior executives in charge of business functions and major divisions of the world's largest and most successful companies. After retirement, these executives continue to represent a wealth of professional experience and personal insight that have great value for others in their fields and the business community at large. The Council Alumni Program is a forum designed to maintain The Conference Board's relationship with these retirees and facilitate their continued interaction with each other as well as leveraging their knowledge and experience for the benefit of the business community.

* Free and discounted conference atttendance

- Participants are eligible to attend one complimentary conference as our guest. Additional conferences may be attended for a 50% discount.

* Free Webcasts

- Council alumni are allowed to attend five free Webcasts annually free of charge.

* Use of The Conference Board's Business Information Services Research Department

* E-Mail Express Newsletter

* Inclusion in the Alumni Directory

- All participants in the Council Alumni Program are listed in an on-line directory, which includes professional bios and e-mail addresses.

* Special Events

- Ad hoc events, such as luncheons or breakfast briefings, may be organized from time to time targeted specifically at the retiree audience.

REQUIREMENTS OF MEMBERSHIP

* Individuals must not be full-time employees of any company eligible for regular Associate membership in The Conference Board.

* Candidates must have been a member of a Conference Board Council.

The annual membership fee for participation is US $150 to help cover administrative costs.
