Globalization Leadership Council

Competition and relentless cost challenges have led many U.S. and global corporations to consider and implement outsourcing and offshoring arrangements. Leaders of these efforts are facing new challenges in the ever-changing landscape of providers and destinations. Identifying and delivering cost improvements, improved quality, customer satisfaction and employee commitment improvements are high on the agendas of senior management. Managing diverse operations across cultures, time zones and continents, as well as getting the governance “right” is a difficult task indeed. In addition, global operations and the use of outsourcing and offshoring can be the catalysts for corporate transformation. These and many other related issues will be examined as part of this Global Operations Council.

Membership Eligibility:

Council members must be senior executives from companies who maintain an Associate Membership with The Conference Board and must be actively guiding the strategy and management of their company's global operations, outsourcing and offshoring efforts.
