Hungarian Council of Finance Executives

The aim of the council is to provide CFOs with an opportunity to

Share knowledge of best practices and insights about doing finance in Hungary;
Discuss critical issues of mutual concern in the Hungarian economy and financial environment;
Find solutions to pressing operational challenges;

in an informal, candid, collegial environment. The council draws its membership from a selective and diverse group of CFOs representing Hungary’s best known and best run companies to offer the broadest possible perspective for knowledge sharing.

Members of HCFE meet face-to-face 4 times a year. Each meeting is hosted by one of the council member companies and often includes site visit. Topics are pre-determined by members. Conversation is facilitated by the most respected researchers, analysts, experts or business people but the round table discussion format is preserved.

To encourage member networking between meetings, a regularly updated ‘Who is who’ is provided about members and member companies.

Regular sum-up and reminder of available recent surveys and research reports, council news and events plus a local ‘Question of the month’ review of an issue raised by members.

A forum where members have direct access to their peers in case they wish to raise a question or discuss an issue between meetings. Council assistant facilitates communication and helps out when specific search is needed.

Our members are senior executives responsible for finance activities (CFOs) in companies doing business in Hungary. Membership is limited to Top 150 companies. The representative company must also be a member of The Conference Board, annual membership Fee is. 1,500 Euro. Please ask for a membership application form.
