In order to stay competitive in a global economy companies are depending more and more on their Shared Services Organization (SSO) to drive greater productivity, improved performance, lower costs and find new avenues for value, such as innovation. As a result SSOs are under constant pressure to meet the increasing demands of delivering quality and service while also being asked to add further value beyond cost reduction. In order to effectively uncover additional value opportunities there is a pressing need to make the SSO more business relevant and tied to corporate goals to be able to move away from transaction processing and truly be an enabler of growth for the business.

During the 2012 Shared Services Conference leading practitioners from a diverse group of companies will share how they have been able to leverage their platform to deliver greater value and growth opportunities for the business, with a particular emphasis on how they have been able manage the continuous behavioral, cultural, and engagement challenges that can often plague SSOs.

The event is uniquely targeted to address the needs of both the new/emerging and mature/multi-functional SSO with specialized breakout sessions to address the specific challenges of these two groups. The event will feature:

  • Expanded Roundtable Discussion-Network with peers to share challenges and solutions
  • Insight into the current and future trends of shared services to be better prepared and knowledgeable in order to leverage the full range of benefits your SSO can provide
  • Effective change management and employee engagement strategies to ensure you are fostering a culture that will provide sustained support of your initiatives
  • Communicating and proving the value of shared services beyond cost reduction to be able to be a strategic driver of the company’s growth
  • Measuring and improving customer satisfaction in order to be viewed as the provider of choice
