SEMINAR 9 AM–5 PM
Whether you are engaged in the process of developing a Diversity and Inclusion Plan or have an existing one, strategically sustaining it within your institution is crucial to the difference between the success and failure of your organization’s goals. You will benefit from tried and proven strategic techniques that have been successfully implemented at various types of higher education Institutions. You will:
- Learn from a panel of HE diversity professionals who have focused on sustaining a Diversity and Inclusion Plan
- Share experiences and adapt various components of others from colleagues at various Higher Education institutions
- Develop your own Diversity and Inclusion Sustainability Plans
- Effectively use employee resource groups to Sustain a Diversity Inclusion Plan
- Identify metrics that assist with sustainability
- Strategize a diversity council that works
- Identify other University alliances/structures needed for sustainability
- Define & examine the professional and personal stressors that can have a negative impact on your ability to lead a successful Diversity and Inclusion Sustainability Plan
