Communication with employees has never been more important: reorganization, changes in benefit plans, rumors of business difficulties and/or takeovers, and other organization changes make it all the more essential add in broad–based incentive compensation programs, quality improvement programs, the current emphasis on “empowerment,” and general employee stock ownership plans, and the need for communications grows even larger.
