Pamela Bayless, a New York-based journalist and author, has written extensively on business topics for publications such as American Banker, Institutional Investor, the International Herald Tribune, Newsweek International, and the New York Times. A former assistant managing editor of Crain’s New York Business, she now writes materials for a variety of organizations, including Arnold & Porter LLP, the New York Philharmonic, the School of Risk Management (St. John’s University) and United Way of New York City. Author of The YMCA at 150: A History of the YMCA of Greater New York 1852-2002 (Fordham University Press), she holds an MS from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, where she was awarded a Correspondents Fund internship grant with the Associated Press in Santiago, Chile.
