Karl J. Sandstrom

Mr. Sandstrom focuses on political law and federal campaign finance law at Perkins Coie. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Washington College of Law, American University and is on the Board of Advisors to the Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research, Wharton School of Business. Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Mr. Sandstrom was Commissioner of the Federal  Election Commission and Chairman of the U.S. Department of Labor, Administrative Review Board.

In his current capacity, he recently testified before the Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises. During his testimony, Sandstrom addressed the corporate governance implications of the Supreme Court's decision in Citizens United v Federal Election Commission.
