Vivian Chen is a senior economist at The Conference Board. She is responsible for research programs on medium and long-term growth, productivity and competitiveness. Chen leads the development of the Total Economy Database ™ the core database on output and productivity measures for more than 125 economies around the world. Her research also spans Chinese economy and labor markets. Chen received her BA in economics from Fudan University in China and her Ph.D. in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the United States. Her working papers include Projecting Economic Growth with Growth Accounting Techniques, Rising Wages: Has China Lost its Global Labor Advantage, and Recent Productivity Developments in the World Economy. |
