Martin Cohen

Martin Cohen is director of mid-market programs and services at The Conference Board. In this capacity, he helped launch the Mid-Market Advisory Panel, as well as
two councils for senior executives of mid-market firms. He represents mid-markets in The Conference Board research planning process and is the acquiring editor for the “Mid-Market Trends” series of publications. He also plans and frequently serves as the host for mid-market webcasts and other special events.

Prior to joining The Conference Board in 2003, Cohen was senior vice president of the Work in America Institute, where he managed the organization’s Productivity Forum, Workplace Literacy Network, and The Parent Connection®, a national substance-abuse prevention program. He has also served as a human resources director and policy analyst with city, county, and state agencies in New York and Oregon. Cohen earned his BA and MBA at Yale and his PhD at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
