Marcel Bucsescu

Marcel Bucsescu is manager of The Conference Board Governance Center®. In this role, he oversees all Center programs and leads several key efforts, including The Conference Board Committee on Corporate Political Spending.

Bucsescu has also worked with The Conference Board Diversity & Inclusion Councils, The Conference Board Council of Chief Legal Officers, and worked closely with numerous other functional heads across The Conference Board member organizations in areas ranging from EH&S and talent management to corporate compliance and ethics.

Prior to joining The Conference Board, Bucsescu worked with The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, a nonprofit based in Berlin focused on promoting global peace and stability through strengthening and supporting intercultural relations at all levels.

Bucsescu holds a Master of Arts in European Studies from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and an undergraduate degree from Binghamton University.
