Matthew Saleh, JD, is a research associate at the Employment and Disability Institute (EDI) at The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. He supports the National Employment Technical Assistance Center by developing content information for its website, www.askEARN.org, with specific focus on legal issues pertaining to compliance with the ADAAA, Section 503, and VEVRAA and the interaction of these regulations with such other laws as the Family and Medical Leave Act. He supports the technical assistance and consultation efforts by bringing his research and legal skills to the discussion. Saleh received a JD from the Syracuse University College of Law with a certificate in advanced disability studies, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in politics and education at Columbia University, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and Teachers College. Prior to joining Cornell, he worked as a law clerk at the Burton Blatt Institute: Centers of Innovation on Disability at Syracuse University, where he helped coordinate the Southeast ADA Technical Assistance Center and provided research assistance on a federal disability law treatise, among other projects.
