VP of Diversity and Inclusion
Aida Sabo, Vice President, leads Diversity/Inclusion at Cardinal Health. Her focus is setting strategy creating an environment of inclusion that leverages diversity as a competitive advantage and executing a Global Diversity/Inclusion Strategy, which she’s developed for 3 Fortune 100 companies. Cardinal Health has received various awards for her work.
Prior to Cardinal Health, Aida led the Corporate Diversity function at EMC in Boston. At Agilent Technologies in Silicon Valley, she brought to light the link between inclusion and innovation.
A child of Mexican immigrants, Aida moved to the U.S. when she was three years old. With a passion for learning, she excelled, ultimately getting her BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the UC, Davis. Aida continued her education by completing engineering graduate work at the UC, Berkeley and Georgia Tech. She has also completed Executive Education at Harvard, JFK School, HBS, UCLA and Stanford University. In 2006 she was selected to be a fellow with the National Hispania Leadership Institute. Most recently, Aida co-founded Cardinal Health’s Women in Pharmacy Initiative.
Aida serves on the Advisory Boards of the Partnership Inc., the Howard University Pharmacy School Board of Advisors, JFK Harvard University Women’s Leadership Board, Boston College, Working Mother Media, Multi-Cultural Initiative, Ohio State University Latino Role Model Program and Otterbein University’s Women’s Advisory Council.
