The Conference Board
Lisa L. Hunter is the Program Director for The Conference Board’s Executive Compensation Management and Compensation Councils. Ms. Hunter has served as a Program Director since January 2005. Ms. Hunter has also contributed to Conference Board publications on Executive Compensation and compensation surveys.
In addition to her work as Program Director, Ms. Hunter is an adjunct faculty member at the Cornell University ILR School and the founder of the Newport Consulting Group, Inc. Ms. Hunter has more than thirty years’ of corporate and consulting experience in compensation, organizational effectiveness, and human resource management. She works closely with boards and organizations on a broad range of issues, including total rewards strategy, linking compensation with business strategy, performance management, and organizational change. Prior to establishing the Newport Consulting Group, she held senior human resources management positions at Time-Warner, Simon and Schuster and Home Box Office.
Ms. Hunter is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. She serves on the Cornell University ILR Dean’s Advisory Council and has served as a Vice Chair of the Cornell University Council and as President of the ILR Alumni Association.
