Deborah Kops is program director for The Conference Board Global Business Services Council. She has over 20 years of experience focused on shared services and outsourcing as an advisor, corporate leader, and outsourcing provider in organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bank of America, and Deutsche Bank.
A prolific commentator on the sourcing industry, Kops also serves as program advisor to ACCA, the U.K.-based global accountancy organization, which has embarked on a two-year research and insights program for finance and accounting shared service and outsourced delivery; and the coauthor of its groundbreaking reports “Finance Transformation: Expert Insights on Shared Services and Outsourcing,” “Finance Leaders on Sourcing Success,” and “The Future of Finance Talent.” She frequently contributes to a range of industry-leading publications and research organizations and sits on several advisory boards and the main board of Digital Divide Data, a leading nonprofit social impact outsourcing company that puts young people to work in third-world countries.
Kops holds a master’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois.
