Rob Lauber

Rob is the Vice President of Yum! University at YUM! Brands, Inc. He has served in this position since joining Yum! in 2006.
In this role, he has the responsibility for leading the direction and strategy for Yum! University and its programs as well as providing learning leadership and strategy globally across the Yum! system.
Previous to his role at Yum! Brands, Rob was the Executive Director of Learning Services at Cingular Wireless in Atlanta, GA. While at Cingular, his team was recognized as a Top 100 Training organization by Training Magazine over three consecutive years. Rob was also recognized in 2005 by CLO Magazine as a Learning in Practice Gold Award winner for Achieving Impact & Leading Business Change - for work on the AT&T Wireless acquisition in 2004. He is frequently a participant in panel discussions, webinars, and learning profession related articles across the globe.
Rob holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Scranton as well as an M.S. in Human Resources Development from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Rob was the 2010 Chair of the board of the ASTD (American Society for Training & Development) National Board of Directors. In addition, he is currently on the board of directors for Leadership Kentucky and Kentuckiana Works, the local workforce board.
Rob lives with his wife, Alana, and three daughters in Prospect, KY.
