David M. Hoffman

Dave Hoffman is a Program Director for the Conference Board, producing conferences, seminars, and webcasts for the Leadership Practice. Dave has extensive experience developing large-scale professional conferences that create revenue streams and membership engagement tools for non-profits, magazines, and independent conference companies.  His skills include: program research; speaker outreach and management; copywriting; sponsorship sales; audience development; onsite logistics; hosting live events and webcasts. Before becoming a conference producer, Dave worked as a journalist and produced live entertainment events and a local television show.  Before moving into the events and media space, Dave worked as an LMSW caseworker for the New York City foster care system.
Dave enjoys motivating people and creating value for the creative and forward thinking types who attend and present at conferences. He is a writer at heart and looks for the interesting angle in every situation.
Dave is a graduate of Syracuse University with an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Westchester NY with his wife and children and enjoys exercising, reading, and playing guitar when he gets a chance.
