Brent Mattson, Ph.D.

Dr. Mattson is vice president and chief learning officer for Invensys. He is responsible for company-wide learning, organization effectiveness, and performance/talent management. Prior to joining Invensys in 2009, Dr. Mattson was senior vice president of Talent Management for Bank of America. He has also held was a variety of roles in General Electric’s Commercial Finance Division including vice president of Organization Effectiveness, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Senior Human Resources manager. Before joining GE, Dr. Mattson was a Senior Organization Effectiveness manager with Wells Fargo. Dr. Mattson holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University. He also holds master’s degree and doctoral degrees from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Dr. Mattson served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Carolina where he teaches graduate courses in psychology and organization development.
