Janet Swaysland

Janet is a network partner at Human 1.0, a business innovation consulting practice where she leads research projects and helps organizations understand and take action on the impact of “social” on leadership communication, culture, employee engagement and internal/external brand alignment.

Before joining Human 1.0, Janet was SVP, global communications & social media for Monster Worldwide, where she developed and executed the company’s first social media strategy, engagement platforms, thought leadership content framework and issues management capability.  Janet joined Monster from Human 1.0 precursor Beeline Labs.

She cut her marketing teeth at big integrated advertising/PR/digital agencies building corporate reputation, influencer relations and public relations programs for brands including Timberland, Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Frito-Lay.  

Janet’s purpose in her work is to connect people with ideas and information and one another in ways that make an impact.  In addition to her research and consulting work, Janet is a speaker and facilitator at live and online customer events and conferences including iStrategy, GlobalWomen’s Innovation Network, B2B Magazine and marketing media forums.
