The Conference Board
Ethan Cramer-Flood is the China Program Specialist based in The Conference Board's New York City headquarters. He liaises with the Beijing-based China Center for Economics and Business and coordinates the two Conference Board China Councils in the US and Europe. Previously Cramer-Flood served as a Professor of International Relations at China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, where he specialized in IR theory and US foreign policy, and conducted research on US-China relations.
Cramer-Flood holds an MS in Global Affairs from NYU, where his research focused on China's engagement with Africa, Chinese foreign policy in general, and global scenario-based planning. He has been published numerous times in academic and scholarly journals focusing on international affairs. Cramer-Flood also worked previously as a researcher for the Center for Responsive Politics in Washington, DC, and as a policy planner for the New York City Department of Health. He earned his BA in History from Haverford College.
