Mary Jacobson

Mary Jacobson is vice president of executive relations at The Conference Board. She is responsible for all activities related to senior executives globally. She works with the chief executive offi cer on recruiting activities involving the board of trustees, global counselors, and voting members of The Conference Board, and with the chief economist on recruitment related to the Global Advisory Council. She is also responsible for the development and oversight of The Conference Board endowment.

Jacobson developed The Conference Board experiential leadership programs at Normandy, Gettysburg, Waterloo, and NASA, and launched the first Women’s Leadership Conference. As Asia-Pacific director, The Conference Board, she was responsible for partnership development, program development, and management of conferences in the region. Prior to that, she was director of programming for The Conference Board U.S. conference division.

Before joining The Conference Board, Jacobson was with Institutional Investor, where she was director of development for the Institute for Infrastructure Finance and the CEO Institute. She served as director of corporate conferences, which included oversight of annual CEO and CFO roundtables, and as program direction for the Institutional Investor Institute. Jacobson helped to launch TV2000, an interactive television network created in 1999 by Reuters Group PLC. She started her career in the fi nancial services industry as an equity trader for Salomon Brothers.
