Jane Horan

Jane Horan is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board. In this role, Jane supports the Human Capital Practice which includes The Conference Board Human Capital Exchange™, research, conferences, webcasts and programs in a broad spectrum of human capital areas.

In addition to serving as a Senior Fellow, Horan is also the Founder at the Horan Group which offers consulting in leadership and talent management, positive politics, and bias awareness for Fortune 500 organizations, academic institutions and NGOs. Based in Singapore, Horan has extensive experience in unconscious bias, leadership development, brand management and innovation. She is passionate about building gender rich, culturally aware work environments.

Jane was previously Director of Management and Organizational Development for Kraft Foods and Executive Director of Organizational Development for The Walt Disney Company in the Asia Pacific Region and responsible for talent, leadership, organizational change, and executive coaching. Whilst at Disney, Horan designed and implemented business driven action learning programs for high potential talent, driving innovation and entrepreneurship across multiple business segments. Horan is a frequent speaker on Transformational Women Leaders, Organizational Politics and Unconscious Bias. She serves on the board for the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisation and the American Chamber of Singapore Women’s Network.

The author of I Wish I’d Known That Earlier in My Career: The Power of Positive Workplace Politics (2011), Jane holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Design and Effectiveness from The Fielding Institute and is an EdD candidate focusing on Asian Women Leaders from Bristol University.
