Shi Bisset

Shi Bisset is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board. In this role, Shi supports the Human Capital Practice which includes The Conference Board Human Capital Exchange™, research, conferences, webcasts and programs in a broad spectrum of human capital areas.

In addition to serving as a Senior Fellow, Shi leads an organization development leadership and executive coaching practice with over 25 years of experience in the Organisational Development field. Before founding Shi Bisset & Associates, Shi was BASF & Virgin Atlantic Airways principal Organisational Development consultant in Japan and China, respectively. She was involved in designing and implementing 360° and other employee feedback instruments, performance appraisals, executive and behavioural coaching, career development workshops, retention workshops and other related, talent and competency-linked training for middle and senior management.

Headquartered in Shanghai since 1982, Shi offers customized solutions for blue-chip Chinese companies and multi-nationals in the Asia-Pacific region and globally with branches and representation in 80 countries. Shi is on the Leadership Faculty (which includes designing programmes) for Dow Corning, Avon, Giesecke & Devrient, BASF, Bristol-Myers Squibb, G.E, Metro and others and serves as a long-term Organisation Development partner for over 150 multi-nationals globally as well as institutions funded by the central government's CPC Central Committee. Shi is now on their advisory committee for Performance Development.

Shi is a frequent facilitator on Leadership and Talent Issues for the British and Australian Chambers.
