Harv Hartman

Harv Hartman’s professional experience is highlighted by over 33 years of service with NASA beginning in the Gemini program and continuing into the International Space Station Program.  In his last 10 years at NASA, he was the Director of Human Resources at the Johnson Space Center in Houston where he was responsible for leading the HR program at one of NASA’s largest centers and had a wide range of people related responsibilities.  Harv has been recognized for his performance and accomplishments with NASA’s Distinguished Service Medal, Outstanding Leadership Medal, and Exceptional Service Medal; and by the National Management Association with its Silver Knight of Management Award.  He was also a founding director of the Manned Space Flight Education Foundation, Inc., the builder and operator of Space Center Houston, and served on its board for its first ten years.  Harv has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska and has done graduate work in business and public administration at Cornell University and the University of Houston
