In addition to serving as head of the Caterpillar Foundation, Will Ball has responsibility for Customer Services, Social Activities and Services and Peoria-area Governmental Affairs. His 20+ years at Caterpillar includes experiences in pricing, factory scheduling, new product introduction, manufacturing, accounting, auditing, governmental affairs (Washington, D.C.) and the Caterpillar Foundation. His career spans six Caterpillar divisions and six relocations -- including international experience in Singapore where he was responsible for Asia/Pacific’s regional audit and compliance function. During his tenure in Asia, he opened the Beijing, China audit office and acquired staff in India to expand assurance services to protect Caterpillar’s image, reputation and brand in the Asia / Pacific region. Ball was named to his current position as manager of Social Responsibility Initiatives in September 2007. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia State University and completed Duke University’s Global Executive MBA program in November 2008. In 2004, he was one of 25 global participants selected for Cat’s first Executive Office sponsored Leadership Quest program.
