Rick Ferraro

Rick Ferraro is a Director in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Washington, D.C. office and is an expert in SG&A and organization-wide restructuring and cost reduction across many industries. Rick focuses on SG&A strategy; business model design; functional strategy, governance and operating model; shared services; outsourcing; offshoring; and improvements in policy, processes, and practices. He has increased the value-to-cost ratio for functions such as finance, human resources, information technology, engineering, environmental quality, health and safety, public and government affairs, and other administrative services. Rick has helped global clients achieve sustainable reductions in production, logistics, and SG&A costs. He has prior experience working with clients in the shipping industry as well. Rick is a frequent author and speaker about cost reduction, restructuring, and improvements in SG&A value. He serves on the Board of Directors of Brain Injury Services of Virginia. He holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York, and an MBA from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
