Melissa Epperly joined the GS SUSTAIN research team in November 2007. GS SUSTAIN is a global, long-term investment strategy designed to generate sustainable alpha by integrating analysis of global themes, long-term valuation drivers, competitive advantage in mature industries and structural growth in emerging industries. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Melissa was a management consultant with Bain & Company in New York and London, focused on healthcare and private equity. She previously worked at Morgan Stanley in New York in healthcare investment banking and banking management. Melissa has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Biochemistry and Economics from the University of Virginia.
